WCC and You

WCC & You is a great way to explore our beautiful campus and all the outstanding opportunities WCC has to offer. WCC & You is a community event open to everyone: prospective students of all ages, local residents, parents and our community partners. Take a tour, attend a session or two, or just come explore. We can even help you apply or register for classes on the spot.

When you attend WCC & You, you can:

• Tour academic divisions and visit labs and program locations all over campus
• Attend informational sessions that will teach you how to navigate things like Financial Aid and Advising
• Hear from our Student Life team about activities, organizations, sports – including Esports-and more that create our vibrant campus community
• Hear from current WCC students about their experiences during an interactive Q&A session

WCC & You Format and Agenda

Informational sessions run every hour on the hour from 9 a.m.–noon. You can attend four sessions. All sessions run each hour and can be done in any order. Choose from the following:

• Orientation - choose from three options: traditional student (high school grads, first time in any college student); non-traditional student (adults, returning to school after a prolonged absence, etc.); student + parent (students and parents with questions)
• Student Resources- Advising
• Academic Advising Group Sessions
• Student Life presentation
• Esports Arena tour
• Financial Aid – what’s available, scholarships, how to navigate
• Student Panel with Q&A
• Academic Division Tours – choose from Health Sciences; Advanced Technologies and Public Service Careers; Business and Computer Technologies, and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences / Math, Science & Engineering
• Student Resource Tables – learn how we can support veterans, opportunities through Student Life, and more

Xpress Registration

Whether you’re attending WCC & You or just want to finish your registration or enrollment process, we’ll have counter services open during the event to help. Event check-in staff can direct you where to go.

• Apply: use one of our computers to begin your application – our staff can assist if you have questions or get stuck.
• Advising: sign in for an appointment with an advisor – we can help determine the best path for you.
• Financial Aid: sign in for an appointment and we’ll help you navigate the system and find available aid.
• Register: sign in for an appointment and we can help you register for Summer and Fall classes.
