About the Scholarship
The Reading Nursing Scholarship Program was established through the generosity of Stephen and Agnes Reading who are wonderful supporters of the WCC Foundation's mission of providing financial assistance to qualified students.
The Reading Scholarship provides 20 full-ride scholarships per semester to WCC students in the Nursing Program who plan to earn their WCC Associate Degree and will transfer to Eastern Michigan University to complete their BSN.
Students may apply for a Reading Scholarship by carefully following the directions listed below. Although highly competitive, students who receive a Scholarship may be eligible to receive the Scholarship in following semesters if they maintain good academic status, including a 3.0 GPA. Eligibility for renewal will be determined after WCC coursework has been completed. Students may receive up to 3 years of Scholarship funding while attending WCC.
