On Saturday, April 22, the WCC network will be unavailable for up to 12 hours, likely
less. ITS is replacing network components in order to increase network bandwidth.
Internet access into and out of the WCC network will be unavailable. Any service requiring
VPN or Single Sign-On or services that are hosted in the WCC Data Center will not
be available to students, faculty or staff.
Services Affected: WCC network will be down.
Start Time: 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 22
Anticipated End Time: 9 p.m. (or sooner) on Saturday, April 22
What is Impacted? Avaya phones & softphones, VPN, all shared drives, anything requiring Single Sign-On
(SSO), Blackboard, MyWCC, Pay Tuition, Register for Classes, Check Your Progress,
Banner 8/9, Financial Aid Appeals System, Portal applications, FAMIS, SARS Appointment
Scheduling, UltraTime, and network connectivity from offices/classrooms/labs will
not be available.
What Services Will Be Available? The main college website will be available.
