About Dale Petty
Dale has been fascinated with electricity since he received his first electric train set on his third birthday. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo and his M.S. in Clinical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Dale worked for 18 years as a Clinical (Biomedical) Engineer, doing everything from new equipment specification and evaluation, to accident investigation to instrumentation design. He holds a patent for an ambulatory esophageal pH monitor and has several publications in the area of medical instrumentation. Dale has been teaching Electricity/Electronics courses at WCC since 1991 and specializes in PLCs, Motors & Controls and Renewable Energy.
