Register for classes that begin later in September and October.
Although WCC’s Fall Semester started Aug. 21, we still have plenty of classes available that begin later in September and October.
Payment is due for these classes by 10 p.m. on the day you register. More information on payment is available at the Student Welcome Center.
Online tools make registration easier
Students have several online tools to help them build their schedules through MyWCC:
The WCC Schedule planner lets you type in classes you want and block out times you’re unavailable, and then produces possible class schedules. Click on the red “Build Your Schedule” box in MyWCC.
The Graduation Audit Using DegreeWorks shows you which classes you still must take to earn a certificate or degree. Click on the blue MyWCC box, the Student Services tab, the Student Records link and the Graduation Audit Using DegreeWorks link.
The Course Prerequisite Check lets you check prerequisites for a class and, if you feel that you meet them, apply for a prerequisite override. Click on the blue MyWCC box, the Student Services tab, the Registration link and the Course Prerequisite link.
Extended hours available
If you need help with registering, a number of WCC offices have extended their hours to better serve students. They include the Student Welcome Center, the Cashier’s Office, and offices that help with admissions, advising, financial aid, registration, and student records. The offices are now open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, all of those offices now provide services at the Student Welcome Center on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Student Welcome Center, which is the hub for all questions about WCC, is located on the second floor of the Student Center building, as are the other WCC offices. You also can reach the Student Welcome Center at 734-973-3543 or [email protected].
