Washtenaw Economic Club hosts MICHauto leader Glenn Stevens for mobility, EV presentation on May 23

The Washtenaw Economic Club's May luncheon will focus on mobility and electric vehicles.

The Thursday, May 23, session, titled “Big Picture 2024: Mobility and Electric Vehicle Transformations,” features Glenn Stevens Jr., who serves as Executive Director at MICHauto and Vice President of Automotive and Mobility Initiatives at the Detroit Regional Chamber.

The luncheon runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Morris Lawrence Building on the Washtenaw Community College campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive (see campus map).

Stevens will discuss the state of mobility and electric vehicle transformations in Michigan and nationally, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session.

With more than 30 years of experience in management and strategy across industries including automotive, steel, chemicals and capital equipment, Stevens leads MICHauto in its mission to advance Michigan’s automotive and mobility sectors. His focus areas include talent development, advocacy, startup innovation and fostering the digital economy. Stevens also spearheads strategic fundraising and investor engagement efforts.

The Washtenaw Economic Club, hosted by Washtenaw Community College, welcomes the public to participate by either becoming a member of the club or purchasing available individual tickets per event.
