Washtenaw Community College has established an agreement with Ferris State University to offer bachelor’s degree courses on our campus. As part of a new the University Center, WCC and Ferris have identified Business Administration with Professional Tracks as the first Bachelor of Science degree program to be offered through this partnership. This program is uniquely designed to facilitate transfer from unrelated associate degree programs with maximum credit for prior academic work. For the student who wishes to combine an intensive course of study in a non-business field with a sound business foundation, this is the ideal solution.
During the first semester, courses will be taught by Ferris State University faculty and offered online. Face-to-face offerings in Ann Arbor will be also available in the near future. Students will pay the Ferris State University tuition rates for these upper division courses. Advising and other student services resources are being identified by Ferris to provide students a seamless transition from the associate to the baccalaureate level.
WCC and Ferris are working together to bring additional programs to the university. Bachelor’s degree programs offered by other colleges and universities may also be introduced in the future.
