The websites listed below under "Services Affected - Two 15-Minute Outages" will be down from 5 to 5:15 a.m. and from 9:45 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13. As described in "Services Affected - 5-Hour Outage" below, Google (Gmail and all GSuite tools) and Kalpa will be down from 5 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13.
No other systems will be affected. ITS is replacing the Central Authentication Service
(CAS) Single Sign On (SSO) server.
The Central Authentication Service (CAS) is a single sign-on protocol for the web.
Its purpose is to permit a user to access multiple applications while providing their
credentials (net ID and password) only once. We are updating the server to the most
current version to remediate security vulnerabilities.
Services Affected - Two 15-Minute Outages: MyWCC, Banner, Banner Mobile, Touchnet, Blackboard, Blackboard Stage, Financial Aid Appeals, Campus Logic, Degree Works App, Banner Document Management (aka Xtender), BDM - DEV, Maxient Conduct Manager, Campus Connect, PeopleAdmin, Blue, Blue - Sandbox, Blue Pulse Hub and Purple Briefcase.
Services Affected - 5-Hour Outage: Google (Gmail and all GSuite tools), Kalpa Systems (Stage)
