Washtenaw Community College (College) uses SMS to send text messages about various College programs. Please review our SMS Texting Terms of Service to learn more about SMS text messaging. The College reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of this text messaging communication will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

WCC Texting Program

The College is adding new ways of communicating with you. Examples include personalized text reminders about registration, degree/program information, financial aid, and bill payment to better serve and support your student experience. The message frequency varies.

Opt In/Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and you will no longer receive SMS messages from the College. To opt back into WCC text messages, text “START”, “YES”, or “UNSTOP” to the short code. You’ll receive confirmation that you’ve been resubscribed to the program, and we can send messages to you again.

Carrier Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Messaging Costs

Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. When you opt in to receive text messages, you are responsible for any carrier fees such as data plan charges, text messaging charges, tolls, out-of-area roaming, and other charges. Messaging frequency will vary.
