WCC does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Transgender and students with non-conforming sexual identities are welcome to participate in any WCC educational program or activity.
Title IX protects all students including transgender and students with non-conforming sexual identities.
Title IX’s sex discrimination prohibition extends to claims of discrimination based on gender identity or failure to conform to stereotypical notions of masculinity or femininity and OCR accepts such complaints for investigation.
All WCC students are protected from sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct includes but is not limited to sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. If you are a victim (complainant) of sexual misconduct – WCC strongly encourages you to report the situation.
The College offers at least one gender neutral restroom in every instructional building.
