Art Fair Mini Pitch

Come experience an accelerated Mini Pitch Competition hosted by WCC The Entrepreneurship Center within the week of the Ann Arbor Art Fair on Friday, July 19th, 2024 for artist-based business owners.

First come, first registered will only be considered. Please sign up by June 30th, 2024.

For this competition you must be an artist with a startup arts-based business (in the idea stage or less than 2 years in business.) “Arts based businesses” can be categorized as a business entity or individual using visual, performing arts, community arts, or experimental arts.

There will be cash prizes for pitch finalists funded by EC and Ann Arbor Spark!

Rules

1. Must be an artist with a start up arts-based business (in idea stage or less than 2 years in business.)
2. "Arts based businesses" can be categorized as a business entity or individual using visual arts, performing arts, community arts, or experimental arts.
3. Due to pitch time limitations, admittance is capped at 10 businesses.
4. Must attend at least 1 practice pitch session for coaching and advice. Held in person at the Entrepreneurship Center on July 9th or July 11th. You do not need to attend both sessions and if necessary Zoom sessions can be added.
5. No previous gallery representation, only emerging/new artists.
6. No multitiered marketing or franchise businesses.
7. You will have 90 seconds to present your piece to our judges! Judges will be local experts.
8. Judging rubric to be shared with all registrants.
